Healing Wounds

Story 1:  My Thoroughbred took a terrible fall, skidding across the ice on her side and sliding into some sapling trees. Her right side and hip were torn open. Even after stitches, she had a 2 ½ inch opening at her hip bone. She was on antibiotics for a month with non-stop seeping. We put her on Elevate, a natural vitamin E in a liquid form, and she began to heal. Today there is no trace of the wound.

Story 2:  I found a brood mare in the pasture with a huge gash; blood was streaming down her leg. I gave her Elevate, a natural vitamin E in a liquid form. In four days, the wound was closed and all pink and clean.

A boarder’s horse had been fighting a wound for several weeks. I suggested Elevate and within one week the wound began healing.

This is a wonderful product; I will continue to use it and recommend it.

Story 3:  Our 2 year old pony colt broke his elbow in a wash rack mishap. The University of Minnesota Veterinary Hospital repaired his elbow with a steel plate and 7 screws. It took a nine inch incision to insert the plate. After 16 days at the hospital, he returned home with instructions to keep the wound clean at all times and slow his growth rate. We fed him only Assurance Ration Balancer Grass and quality hay. The incision continued to weep for weeks. We then started top dressing with Kentucky Equine Research Myo-Guard, a supplement containing natural vitamin E. Within 3 weeks the wound was almost completely healed! Two years later, he was the National High Point Halter Stallion and Minnesota Pinto High Point Pony!
