Easy As It Sounds
I was introduced to it in the beginning of this
year (please bare with me, I know everyone has some kind of feed
they love, but I assure you this is different). It’s a feed that
actually has a customer service program in place. The nutritionist
has a computer program that helps figure out exactly what kind of
vitamins your horse is getting and what they are lacking and where
to change their feed program… for the first time I was able to SEE
what my horse was getting for vitamins and where they needed more.
Along with the graph of the vitamins/minerals it also figures out
cost per day to feed each horse.
All of you know my horses and know that they
have always looked pretty good and we have always strived to make
sure of that. However this year I’ve discovered that my horses could
look just as good, if not better, and I was able to save money in
the process and who wouldn’t like that! Plus I have the added
comfort of KNOWING that my horse is receiving the proper nutrition.
Any time I get a new horse in, the first thing I do is call Abby,
and have her work up a chart for me. Completely takes out the
‘guess-work’ in feeding your horse.
I’ve seen huge differences in all of my
horses; from my youngsters to my old lesson pony… it’s amazing! I
truly love all of their feed, and will have my horses on it from
here on out, but the product of theirs I like the best is what is
called “Ration Balancer”… it’s a mixture of vitamins and minerals,
and is an all inclusive type vitamin (kind of like the vitamins we
take every day… or should take!), and since it has no calories in
it… I can feed it to the youngsters and MINIS and they get all they
need, but don’t get the risk of founder besides. Which is really a
blessing!!! And while using this balancer, I’m able to give them
less of the regular feed and that brings the cost of feed down
considerably… now if you double or triple that for more horses think
of how much you are saving, plus giving your horses a much healthier
life style…. So I ask you to try to find the down side here. Simply
there just isn’t one. It really is as easy as it sounds!
