     EquiShure is a time-released hindgut buffer designed for horses with subclinical acidosis, a condition marked by decreased feed intake, poor feed efficiency, or weight loss. Caused by overconsumption of high-starch concentrates or pasture grasses loaded with fructans, subclinical acidosis is characterized by harmful changes in the pH of the hindgut. When EquiShure is fed, only minimal fluctuations occur, allowing for optimal digestion of all feedstuffs and diminishing the signs associated with subclinical acidosis. |
